Gaia is from the Greek pantheon.  She is the grandmother of Persephone, and the mother of Demeter.

Gaia was the first goddess WildCat introduced herself to.  She has been a wonderful inspiration to the spiritual community of feminists.  She is the soul of the Earth herself, and brings the ability to conserve resources within the delicate ecological balance, and at the same time to be in touch with the vast generosity of the planet and of the Universe in which she spins.
