Sekhmet is one of the major goddesses of Egypt, but originally came from Sudan.

She is a big, bad, Black African goddess -- sexy and gorgeous, with the head of a black lioness.  

 

She brings the ability to work effectively and responsibly with anger.  She teaches how to flame your boundary when criticized, so you can respond out of strength and calm confidence rather than being defensive. She brings the gifts of believing you deserve respect, and getting it, being able to say "no" with a clear conscience, and using the energy of anger to heal.
